Through Manhattan Records

Through Manhattan Records is a young lofi label (est. 2024) built around one of the most musically loaded cities on earth. The name does almost everything before the music even plays. Through Manhattan is movement, the feeling of drifting past brownstones at night, catching the smell of corner bodegas, late jazz spilling out of a basement bar, fire escapes, the rumble of the train coming up from underground. The label is making music for that walk.
The sound sits in a specific corner of the genre, jazz lofi and lofi hip hop with the dusty warmth of old vinyl records.
