What's new on SplitScout, June edition

A handful of new things since the last update. The pattern's the same: less hunting around for info, more time making the music.

**Notifications** A bell icon next to your profile lights up when there's something worth knowing. Label posts pulled from Discord, new compilations, deadlines closing in the next week, fresh articles. Read once, badge clears. Polls every five minutes so you don't have to refresh.

**Activity on your profile** Your /account page now shows a streak counter, a thirty-square heatmap of the last month, and a best-streak record. Comes up automatically from what you do on the site, no tracking pixel.

**Ambient catalog** SplitScout is no longer lofi-only. The /ambient catalog runs as a separate scene with its own labels, compilations and submission targets. Phonk and jazz house are next.

**Better label pages** Each label page got a cleaner layout. Centered hero with the logo and title (tinted to match the brand artwork). Open/closed status right under the socials. Genres are clickable chips that drop you back into the catalog with the filter already on. The submit flow collapsed into a single obvious amber CTA so you can stop looking for it.

**Submit via Instagram** Some labels take demos in their Instagram DMs now, and the submit button knows. One click, the DM thread opens.

**Pro plan waitlist** The /pro page is up. If there's a paid tier in your future, drop in what you'd pay and which features matter to you. Helps us build the right thing for working artists, not feature creep.

**Invite friends** /account/referrals gives you a personal link. Track who joined through it.
