Lost Sound

Lost Sounds is a British ambient label operating with the administrative backing of The Bootleg Boy team (submissions run through their A&R).

The sound sits in the atmospheric, textural, contemplative side of ambient. Slow-moving pads, layered drones, cinematic soundscapes, meditative pieces. Music built to open space rather than to grab attention.

The name is the compass. Lost Sounds evokes what ambient does at its best, sound that surfaces from somewhere half remembered, textures that feel found rather than composed, a listening experience closer to remembering than to hearing. The label's job is to surface those pieces, artists whose music sounds like it was already out there, drifting, waiting to be picked up.
