Cat Café Records is a lofi label built around one of the warmest cultural metaphors the genre could borrow from, the cat café. A real place in Japan where people drink coffee, pet cats, and slow down for a while. That's the entire thesis here. The label wants to be exactly that kind of room, but in audio form. A welcoming, cozy spot where the listener can step out of the day and feel a little softer. The musical lane is clear: instrumental lofi, chillhop, jazzhop, study beats. Warm, cozy, easy to live with. They want music that fits naturally into their cozy playlist world while still carrying its own personal voice. That last part matters. They're not building a generic background lofi conveyor, they're looking for tracks with character delivered inside a soft, comfortable frame rather than an experimental one.

Its mission is to be a haven for creative, like minded people, operating by artists for artists, fostering talent and backing forward thinking ideas. The sound leans toward upbeat, uplifting lofi instrumental beats, and the label puts real weight on storytelling, clear artist communication, fair and transparent contracts, and a genuine appreciation for its community and culture. Homework Radio is one of the old school pillars of the YouTube lofi scene. They emerged during the early wave of the genre, back when lofi was just starting to grow into a global phenomenon, and over the years became a trusted name for both listeners and artists. This is not a new niche curator trying to find its identity, but an established platform with history, reputation, and deep roots in the culture of online lofi.

New Peace Music

New Peace Music is a Spain-based independent lofi label and collective founded in December 2022. Born from a group of colleagues who wanted to release their own music and help emerging producers do the same, the label now runs a full ecosystem across Instagram, Discord, SoundCloud, SubmitHub and their own site with dedicated Submit, Services, and beat battle sections. Tagline captures the whole posture, "a quieter corner of the internet." The territory is warm, playful, uptempo lofi with a jazzy and bossa nova heart. Flagship LoFi Bossa Nova leans into breezy Brazilian-influenced grooves. Around it sit Upbeat Lofi Jazz / Chillhop Jazzhop Vibes, LoFi for Work, LoFi Nature Birds and Beats, SP404 LoFi Beats (a producer-gear nod, that sampler is a beat scene icon), and LoFi Vocal Beats. Not sleepy, not sad, not ambient. Music that moves and breathes. Two things stand out about their approach. First, the framing is collective, not top-down label, the mission talks about sharing "our music" with artists who "want to be part of our collective," and the roster is treated as fellow travelers rather than signings. Second, they run Peacebattle, a beat battle feature that puts producer culture at the center of the community, not just consumer listening. Add a stated commitment to a "fair deal that respects the time and energy" of artists, and the whole posture reads producer-first, horizontal, warm.
