Cat Café Records is a lofi label built around one of the warmest cultural metaphors the genre could borrow from, the cat café. A real place in Japan where people drink coffee, pet cats, and slow down for a while. That's the entire thesis here. The label wants to be exactly that kind of room, but in audio form. A welcoming, cozy spot where the listener can step out of the day and feel a little softer. The musical lane is clear: instrumental lofi, chillhop, jazzhop, study beats. Warm, cozy, easy to live with. They want music that fits naturally into their cozy playlist world while still carrying its own personal voice. That last part matters. They're not building a generic background lofi conveyor, they're looking for tracks with character delivered inside a soft, comfortable frame rather than an experimental one.

Releasing music nowadays means trying to dodge constant pitfalls and sometimes straight-up scams. Chill Ghost aims to combat these problems by educating its followers and providing a transparent release process for artists.

Coastal Chill Records is a lofi label founded by Conor, a Southern California native and lofi producer in his own right (releasing as CMJ). Born and raised on the coast, Conor built the label around the chill, relaxing music he loves, and around fixing the things he saw working with other labels. Lunora Records is a young lofi label whose whole aesthetic promise is packed into the name itself. Lunora reads directly from luna, the moon, and lands on a soft ending that feels more like a dream than a word. Everything the label points at, night sounds, moonlit rooms, contemplative mood, quiet after hours, is already sitting in that first breath. The territory is the nocturnal, dreamy, slightly cinematic corner of lofi. Not chillhop for the workout, not study beats with crisp drums, not sleepy ambient stretched into a full sleep track. Purity is an independent lofi label with a brand attitude that's almost unusual in the genre, restraint. The entire website is a single page with one line: "an independent label for lofi beats & more". No manifesto, no overproduced about us section, no aesthetic essay. The label is confident enough in what it does that it doesn't have to say much about it. The name does the work. That word, purity, is the whole compass. In a lofi scene that usually piles on aesthetics (vintage anime girls, late night windows, lo-fi room visualizers, busy plugin stack production), Purity stakes out the opposite move. Clean sound, clean image, clean intent. Lofi distilled down to what actually matters, the beat, the texture, the mood, with nothing trying to win attention.

Retro Jungle Records is an independent Jazz Hip Hop Record Label founded in 2017 by Félix Schmidt (aka DLJ), artist, music composer and sound designer from France. Goal is to release high quality music and compilations on the streaming platforms and on vinyl, with fair deals for our artists and creating long term relationships with them. Work with a lot of international artists from the Hip Hop / lofi hip hop scene, but also with ambient, jazz, rap or indie pop artists. Serendipity Music is a young label founded by lst.drm, an artist with a solid reputation in the chillhop scene. This is not some curator starting from zero, it’s a beatmaker who’s already gone through the scene from the artist’s side many times over, and is now building the kind of home he’d personally want to release music with. Even the name captures the spirit of the genre perfectly. Serendipity is that happy accident of finding something you were not even looking for. That’s exactly how people listen to lofi. You put on a playlist in the background, then suddenly one track catches you off guard and you instantly check who made it. The label is built around that feeling. Giving artists the chance to become that unexpected discovery for someone, instead of disappearing into the endless noise of streaming platforms. Right now Serendipity Music is still shaping its identity, and honestly, that is part of its strength. No corporate distance, no conveyor belt demo submissions, no “send your track through this form and maybe we’ll get back to you next month.” It feels personal. Warm. Horizontal. Artists speak directly with the founder, not with some “demo intake manager.”

That framing alone tells you most of what you need to know: the project doesn't try to compete on jazz credibility, beat-scene depth, or genre experimentation, it competes on warmth and emotional payoff. The whole identity is carefully selected lofi hip hop to help you work, study, or relax. Settle stays right in the central lofi lane and owns it without apology. Mixes have names that read like exhales: Soft Lofi Mix, Chill Lofi Mix. Nothing flashy, nothing performative, the bet is on consistency and trust.

Tagline: "Chill beats · Lofi · Live performance, we make the music we love." Approach: collaborative artist development model inherited from Estrela. The Retune Project
